Paul Kirshman MD

My undergraduate degree is from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and I earned my medical degree at the world’s oldest medical school, the Université de Montpellier in France. 

I am certified by the American Board of Pathology to practice anatomical and clinical pathology and completed a fellowship in molecular genetic pathology at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, Maryland. 

Since medical school, I have had an interest in gastrointestinal disease genetics, and my specialty is analysis of HLA-DQ2 and DQ8 genes in celiac disease disease development.
