CeliacDX

Test for Celiac Genetics from the Comfort of Your Own Home

CeliacDx is an at-home celiac genetic testing and pathology consultation service.

We screen for HLA-DQ2 and DQ8 celiac risk genes from your at-home collected cheek swab sample which requires no change in dietary gluten prior to testing.

Still Wondering if you have Celiac Disease?

According to the Celiac Foundation, an accurate celiac disease diagnosis can be delayed an average of 4-10 years! Our pathologists are here to help. We specialize in putting the pieces of the testing puzzle together into a definitive result and provide you with recommendations for additional testing if needed. Order a CeliacDxTM Kit

Just fill out our symptoms questionnaire, mail your cheek swab sample to the lab and upload copies of your reports from any previous celiac disease testing to our secure server. Our pathologists will interpret your genetics results along with previous testing in your CeliacDx Consult Report

Why test with CeliacDx?

CeliacDxTM is the only testing strategy incorporating all diagnostic criteria: antibodies, small bowel biopsy, and genetics into a single comprehensive report. Although small bowel biopsy has long been considered “The Gold Standard” for celiac disease diagnosis, the other two components (antibodies and genetics) are equally critical for accurate diagnosis.

How It Works

Answer Questionnaire

Fill out our questionnaire about your symptoms, gluten consumption, and family history of celiac disease. Upload reports from previous testing.

Test

Collect your cheek swab sample. You do not need to fast or consume gluten before testing. Pack and mail the sample to the lab using the pre-paid mailing label on the kit.

Review Results

You should receive your genetics results and CeliacDx report via email approximately 2 weeks after the sample is received by the laboratory.

Need More Information?

According to the Celiac Disease Foundation

An accurate celiac disease diagnosis is delayed on average by 6 to 10 years. Delayed diagnoses often lead to worsening health conditions. CeliacDx significantly reduces the time to diagnosis by combining the three gold standard tests to provide comprehensive reporting of your celiac disease subtype.

CASE EXAMPLE
For a patient with celiac disease symptoms, positive family history, negative antibody test results and positive biopsy, use CeliacDx for resolution of positive versus negative celiac disease diagnosis.

  • Collect cheek swab samples and send to the lab along with previous antibody and biopsy test results using the CeliacDx kit box and pre-paid mailing label.
  • The laboratory will perform HLA-DQ2/DQ8 genetic testing.
  • Our pathologists will interpret all test results (Antibodies, Biopsy, Genetics) in the context of the patient’s reported symptoms, dietary gluten, and family history to issue a pathology consultation report for celiac disease.

How to Order CeliacDxTM?

Just answer the screening questions, order your kit, and upload previous test results to our HIPAA secure website. Our pathologists will do the rest!
